LocalStorage/RoamingStorage on desktop

Aug 8, 2014 at 7:00 PM
I noticed that LocalStorage/RoamingStorage return a folder that includes the application version; this is an issue, because it means that when I update the app, I don't have access any more to the files that where saved by the previous version... There should be a way to not include the version.

Also, this is inconsistent with WinRT, which always returns the same folder even when the version has changed.

Similar issue as tom103. How do I create an instance of a pre-existing folder so I don't depend on FileSystem.Current.LocalStorage?
